About Foundry

Foundry is a consortium of independent senior specialists in story, brand, customer experience, content, digital presence, reputation, and community. We help businesses become easier to understand, easier to trust, and easier to choose.

You work with one team and one plan. Behind that, we bring in the specific craftspeople your problem requires.

No, and the difference is not semantic. An agency sells you its standing team, because that team has to stay busy. A consortium assembles around the problem and disbands when the problem is solved.

Practically, that means you are not paying for six people when the work needs two.

Restaurants and hospitality businesses, professional services firms, local and regional consumer-facing businesses, community-based organizations, and MSPs and IT service providers serving local and regional markets.

The common thread is not size. It is that the business depends on reputation, trust, referrals, repeat business, and the experience it delivers in person.

We do not do lead generation, cold outreach, appointment setting, SDR programs, sales enablement, sales training, sales outsourcing, pipeline generation, partner recruitment, channel program development, fractional CRO work, or RevOps implementation.

We are not responsible for filling your sales pipeline. We are responsible for making sure that when someone finds you, they understand you and believe you.

How We Work

With a conversation, not a proposal. You tell us about the business, what customers already love, and where you think the story is getting lost. We ask questions you may not enjoy.

From there we come back with a diagnosis: what is actually creating the gap, what to fix, and in what order.

Good. That is the honest answer and it is the one we prefer.

Most businesses call about a website and discover the website is fine and the story is the problem. Figuring that out is our job, not yours.

The specialist whose craft matches the problem. A brand strategist for brand. A writer for content. A search and AI visibility specialist for how you show up in results. Every member has a decade or more in their discipline.

You will know who is on your project and why.

Depends entirely on what is broken. A story and messaging engagement moves in weeks. Rebuilding a digital presence, reputation system, and content practice takes longer.

We will tell you the realistic timeline before you commit, including the parts that depend on how fast you can get us answers.

Not unless that is genuinely what you need. Most of our work is strategic direction plus targeted execution, and it is designed to leave your business clearer than we found it.

If you have people in-house, we work with them. Making your team look bad is not a business model.

Working Together

By project, scoped to the diagnosis. You see what the work is, who is doing it, and what it costs before it starts.

We do not have packages or tiers, because tiers exist to sell you services you did not need.

One. That is one of the main reasons Foundry exists.

Working with four independent specialists normally means four contracts, four points of contact, four invoices, and one person in your office doing unpaid coordination work. We absorb that.

No. Work is scoped by engagement. Some clients do one project and go run their business. Some keep us involved as the story evolves.

We would rather earn the next phase than lock you into it.

Access and honesty. Time with the people who actually deal with customers. Permission to talk to a few of those customers. And a straight answer when we ask what is not working.

The projects that stall are the ones where we are kept at arm’s length from the real business.

Specifics

We agree on the measures up front, tied to what the business actually cares about: inbound inquiries, review volume and quality, repeat and referral business, search and AI visibility, close rate on the opportunities you already get, and whether customers can repeat your story back to you.

That last one sounds soft. It is usually the most predictive.

No. We work with the MSP, not with the vendors selling through you.

The work is positioning, storytelling, website messaging, brand clarity, customer experience, local and regional presence, thought leadership, and making technical value legible to business buyers. Not vendor campaigns, not MDF programs.

Usually the opposite. One marketing person cannot be a strategist, writer, designer, SEO specialist, reputation manager, and community builder at once. Expecting that is how good marketing people burn out.

We give them a clear story to execute against and specialist support where they need depth.

Not strictly. The focus is not company size or geography. It is how the business reaches and serves its market.

If you grow through reputation, relationships, referrals, and customer experience, you are the kind of business we are built for.

Still have a question?

Ask it in plain language. We will answer the same way.

The Forge
