Foundry is a consortium of independent specialists. You keep your practice, your clients, and your rate. You stop doing the parts of independence that nobody enjoys.
We keep the group small on purpose. Every craft we cover is spoken for right now, and we would rather say that than take your application and sit on it. If you are the right kind of specialist, introduce yourself anyway. We open spots as the work grows and as disciplines change.
Foundry members are independent specialists with at least a decade in their discipline. Storytellers, brand strategists, writers, designers, customer experience people, search and AI visibility specialists, reputation and community builders, researchers, video people.
The bar is not credentials. It is whether you are unmistakably good at one thing and honest about the things you are not.
If your pitch is that you do everything, this is not the right group. We already have somebody for each of those things and they have been doing it for eleven years.
No membership dues. No minimums. No non-compete on your own book of business.
You set what you charge. We do not discount your craft to win work, and we do not ask you to.
A flat fee covers contracting, invoicing, collections, and the administrative weight of consolidated billing.
On work Foundry brings you. Nothing on the clients you already had. We are not taking a cut of your history.
The client receives one invoice from Foundry. You receive one payment. Nobody has to explain to a restaurant owner why four different companies are billing them for the same project.
Email members@getfoundry.us. Tell us your craft, how long you have been doing it, and the kind of client you do your best work for.
Three examples. Not a deck. We want to see what you made and understand what problem it solved.
We talk about how you work, where you draw the line, and whether the group is actually a fit in both directions.
Practical writing on story, brand, reputation, and community for people who actually run a business. No growth hacks. No 40-slide frameworks. Real problems and what we would do about them.
